Nick Batista here, I am the CEO of Mud Baby Records, which was founded in 2021. It all started back in a small city called Reading, in Pennsylvania when I was just a kid. Music has been life since my ears heard the percussions, nostalgic sounds and trancy vocals together on a song at the age of 6 years old. I started dancing to music and playing instruments like the trumpet, flute and drums. At the age of 8 years old I started becoming heavily invested into the HipHop/Rap sound and just kept expanding more on my knowledge in that genre. I noticed at a young age that I listened and understood music a lot differently than everyone around me, so I knew I wanted to pursue a career in music. In 2015 I've met an artist  named AVO Dre who really made me believe in the vision and dream that we both had as kids, which is making it in the music industry our way. Him and I built a brother ship and started going to work on building a team. I started learning music management, production & everything that has to do with the business side. In 2019 I have invested into MBR's professional home studio "Too Lit Studios" and built it from nothing with my father. By 2020, I have created my own record label "Mud Baby Records" and have been helping create nostalgic, soul moving music ever since.
